报告简介：In multicellular organisms, epigenetic machineries provide, as part of a cellular "Plant-Memory", stable gene expression patterns that enable the formation of diverse tissues and whole organs. Epigenetic processes cause heritable changes in gene activity that are not caused by changes in the DNA sequence that allows reversibility during development in response to extrinsic signals and endogenous clues. Our lab focuses on the role of Polycomb Group (PcG) proteins and their antagonists, commonly referred as Trithorax Group (TrxG) proteins, in the epigenetic control of stem cell fate and differentiation as well as flower and leaf development. In whole genome approaches, we will investigate the dynamics of epigenetic histone marks and their correlation to gene expression changes during early plant organ development.
